Date is 24 June 1789 Groom: Lourenço José de Sousa, son of Mateus de Sousa Lopes and his wife Maria Francisca do Rosario, baptized in Matriz da Estrella, Ribeira Grande Bride: Luisa Francisca daughter of Pedro Furtado de Medeiros, deceased, and his wife Rosa Ferreira. natural and baptized in this parish of NS do Rosario, Achadinha The margin note I believe just shows that they were given a certificate of this record on that date which I see as 26 Sep (7.bro) 1853. This could have been for many reasons (passport, marriage, godparent, inheritance, etc.) I hope this helps.
