I'm pipe in: you can also consider donating ALL of your research to the Ferreira-Mendes Portuguese-American Archives. While I agree with Cheri, that good documentation of where information was found is enough for individuals to trace it back, we actually like to see it all! All the birth, marriage, death records; the census printouts; the little notes with family stories! ALL of it! I will always ask if there any any family photographs that can be donated as well (I will happily make digital copies, if the family wants to retain the originals) and any other documents that speak to the family (correspondence, audio-visual, yearbooks, cards, documents created as part of a business etc).
