GALGAL גלגל 'wheel', is GAL-GAL, one GAL, 'mound, wave', up and
one GAL down to make a circle. The L in GAL, as in TEL, 'hill',
indicates 'up'. The root G is the core element of גאה GAAH,
'lifted, hurled', as in Ex. 15:1.
From GAAH we have גא GE, 'proud, haughty', as in Is 16:6. Also
גאות GEUT, 'high tide', as in Is. 9.17.
