Don't you agree that "but the context and form indicate that this
should be a niphal verb". Understanding is out, but "context" and
"form" are in. Try a machine translation and you may well see that he
is right. In fact the Google translator says on
טוב מראה עינים מהלך נפשׁ
that it is: "Good looking eyes move people". Google is just reading
TOB as TUB.
