1. I should have mentioned also אוה AWAH, as in Prov. 21:10, and אבה ABAH, as in Ex. 10:27, both being purely בא 'be, come', or עבה 'enlarged'.
2. The word אפה APAH, 'baked', is also, apparently, a variant of עבה 'thick'. 3. The עב AB, 'cloud, clod or clot of vapor', עף AP overhead.
