Dear WirelessMesh folks,

It s been a pleasure to receive you here at the TMPLAB for this 3 days mesh
contest running 3 x 20 nodes for each protocols for 2 days.

The configuration step took us of course a longer time than expected as we
wanted to be sure that the 3 networks were running locallly.
The HSB people did a great job (Peter, we love your "bricolage" at tmplab)
making power supplies for the ASUS WL-HDD with simple MOSFETs and wood
construction to power 3 nodes at once !! We would like if possible to get a
triplette of these construction for "souvenir" at TMPLAB :)

Once the configuration was done locally, the nodes were deployed on the site
of the 6bis where the TMPLAB is with outdoor and indoor nodes (all position
with the 3 protocols and same hardware).

Then we did run some tests on these 3 running networks with :
-Mobile nodes (laptops) moving around pinging the gateway of the subnet.
-IPerf performances from remote nodes
-Packet loss count (sh -c 'iptables -Z; ping -n 192.168.40.2; iptables -v -L')

The details of the subnets and configuration are gathered here :
http://www.tmplab.org/wiki/index.php/Wireless_Battle_Mesh

We are putting together the reports (tcpdumps downloads, pictures, scripts for
automated installation) of the BattleMesh and will make it available on a
week.

Next steps for us is letting the 3 wireless networks running at the TMPLAB
with 10-20 nodes for each for further on-sites tests.
We are looking for gifted nodes to the TMPLAB.

The TMPLAB team.
