Next week, the Department of Biology at Santa Clara University
hosts its first Bay Area Biosystematists Meeting (Tuesday, April 13,
2010):
"Coevolution: Patterns & Processes"
This lively panel discussion will feature:

Short presentations by each panelist will be followed by a general
discussion on recent advances & current controversies in this exciting
field.
Schedule:
Social Gathering & Catered Buffet Dinner:
5:30pm - Dinner includes Caesar salad, tortellini & penne pastas
with marinara & Bolognese sauces, garlic bread, cookies/brownies, and
beverages. The cost is $15 for everyone. The Department of Biology is
generously subsidizing the catered dinner. If anyone would like to
join us, yet is short on funds, please inquire about the "grants-for-
hungry-grads" program. Location: Foyer, Alumni Sciences Bldg., Santa
Clara University, 500 El Camino Real, Santa Clara
Panel Discussion on Coevolution
7:00pm - Three 15 minute synopses by individual panelists
followed by discussion. Location: Wiegand Room (immediately adjacent
to the foyer), Arts & Sciences Building, 500 El Camino Real, Santa
Clara University.
Reservations required for beverages and dinner (but not the panel
discussion). Please email reservations to Elizabeth Dahlhoff ([email protected]
) by Friday, April 9th so we can plan accordingly. You may pay by cash
or personal check at the door.
Parking: When you enter from El Camino Real, stop at the parking kiosk
to receive a complementary Invited Guest Pass. Parking is available
immediately on the left in the 3-story parking garage and the Arts &
Sciences Building will be just ahead on the right-side of Palm Dr. A
