Jonathan,
excuse my French, what kind of merde is this?
I raise an issue**, the BBC doesn't solve it, closes down the weather
for a day.
lo and behold, it re-opens and now the all new feeds such as:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/feeds/rss/5day/world/0008.xml
link to places that presumably have no content:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?world=0008
so they've added a re-direct to:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/8
??? this is specifically what you are not meant to do !!!
why not link to the 'right' place first time around?
now there's at least twice as much mess as last time around....

why is it the links in the weather feeds lead to a place that isn't?
please replace ?id= with forecast/ in the weather feeds....
or is it me?
For SW8 the feed uri remains:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/feeds/rss/5day/id/0008.xml
click on a day such as Thursday the link remains as:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/?id=0008
this used to work fine but now, there is no information for SW8 !!
it appears that the 'new' destination for SW8 is
http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/0008
hence the request....
am I the only person left in Britain using the BBC weather feeds?
