See I knew my vague hand-waving wouldn't fool the bright boys at the BBC for a second. :) Ok, here's a few ideas triggered by a quick glance through the modules chapter of Ben Hammersley's RSS and Atom book. * using mod_annotation to point to a "have your say" page on a topic relating to a news story. * using mod_audio to add metadata to feeds that point to MP3 files. * using mod_company to add details about the companies discussed in a business story. * lots of good stuff in mod_dublincore and mod_DCTerms. You can never have too much Dublin Core data in a feed! * using mod_event to add date and time information to an item that is date-based. * using mod_taxonomy to add classification information to an item (for example, a pointer to a category at dmoz.org). These are just a few examples. And the RDF community is always coming up with new modules. Obviously, these modules won't add much value to anyone using most standard RSS readers, but they'll be very useful to people using RDF readers.
