Three new webfeeds that we have been working on are live today. http://feeds.bbc.co.uk/nmfeeds/rss/snippet.xml - This is an RSS feed for the Homepage promotional section It is a simple list of all of the links used on the daily bbc.co.uk homepage "promotion" which is the graphic + links bloc in the top right hand corner.
http://feeds.bbc.co.uk/nmfeeds/rss/jobs.xml - Jobs RSS feed This has been much requested by many including a few backstage email subscribers We've developed this so subscribing to individual departments/type of jobs (eg: New Media only) is possible instead of "all*.. similarly http://feeds.bbc.co.uk/nmfeeds/rss/pressoffice.xml - Press Office feeds is a feed of "all" BBC Press Releases. The ability here is also to subscribe to categories (eg: newmedia +TV) if you wish. You might also be interested in our gradually getting bigger network of blogs (all with feeds available).. for http://blogs.bbc.co.uk/nickrobinson/ http://blogs.bbc.co.uk/paulmason/ http://blogs.bbc.co.uk/worldhaveyoursay/ http://blogs.bbc.co.uk/walesnortheast/ I'll be checking on bloglines for who's signed up! Actually, as ever we'd be interested in any feedback about how this has been implemented but more importantly seeking newer and better ways for using this data or combined with any other bbc data or elsewhere...
