Hello, As the senior developer on the BBC Weather site, I'd like to point out that the weather data displayed on the site is supplied by the Met Office, and not the BBC. We have been monitoring the sorts of discrepencies you mention between the 5day and 24 forecasts, and feeding them back to the Met Office. They are keen to improve their quality control processes in response to this.
