If you are interested in that kind of thing there was a fantastic 30 minute documentary about the number stations on Radio 4 called "The Lincolnshire Poacher" around about Xmas. I *cough* downloaded it from *cough* UKNova whilst I was in Austria - don't know if you can still get hold of it
