Yeah I have to agree with Dave's quote. I remember hearing somewhere two things 
about Flickr.

1. Flickr is the biggest store of publicly accessible and licensed photos in 
the world
2. Flickr's creative commons section stores more cc'ed photos that anywhere 
else on this planet.                                                            
                     

Now I know that says nothing about the quality but lets not dismiss flickr too 
soon.
