Has there been a specific reason given for the lack of transport controls as implemented on most other Flash video players I've seen? I can imagine that if the client is designed to cache the absolute minimum portion of the stream needed for reliable playback, it's harder to do than for a site like YouTube where the whole stream is cached if possible. It's not normally a problem, but forgetting to hit pause when the phone went rather ruined The Shadow in the North :-(
