I thought that OpenSolaris was using Gnome - which is a Linux DE. Certainly that is what the OpenSolaris web pages say. I would also have no problem sitting someone down with KDE 4.3 (configured to be most like Windows). From my experience end-user take-up has been far less about the DE than the applications and continues to be so. -- Andy Leighton => [email protected] "The Lord is my shepherd, but we still lost the sheep dog trials" - Robert Rankin, _They Came And Ate Us_ - Sent via the backstage.bbc.co.uk discussion group.
