Hi, I'm installing BackupPC for the first time, following the docs on
the site. I'm using the tarball, not BackupPC package.

So I invoked perl configure.pl as superuser and replied to questions.

At some point, when I choose the user that will run BackupPC (that I
previously created as 'backuppc' and assigned to 'admin' group), the
script states that "By default the install directories will have group
write permission. The data directories and files will have group read
permission but no other permission."

This is not true in my system: data directories are ok, but install
directories haven't group write permission:

Install directories:
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 2006-04-10 11:14 opt/
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 2006-04-10 11:14 opt/local/
drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 2006-04-10 11:14 opt/local/BackupPC/
drwxr-xr-x 2 backuppc admin 4096 2006-04-10 11:14 opt/local/BackupPC/bin
drwxr-xr-x 2 backuppc admin 4096 2006-04-10 11:14 opt/local/BackupPC/doc
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 2006-04-10 11:14 opt/local/BackupPC/lib

Did I missed something?

Thanks for help,
Paolo
