Hey guys, My experience.... version 3.0.0beta1 to me seems as solid as you get. my setup really doesn't change so i am happy with it. The big thing with version 3 is the ability to edit configuration and hosts files per pc and globally via the cgi interface. This is HUGE as it means full administration can be done via the web interface. i have upgraded a couple of 2.1.2 systems with only minor hiccups. namely missing the par2 binary which is required for the config editor (note it didn't affect the upgrade, but it didn't allow me to edit config files etc in the cgi). par2, if you dont have it in your OS, comes from parchive.sourceforge.net. The upgrade will keep all current data and configuration as they are in 2.1.2, so its painless. I'd fully recommend doing it.
