When I ran rsync target_host::, this is the message that I reeived: @ERROR: auth failed on module MSSQL rsync error: error starting client-server protocol (code 5) at main.c(1296) [receiver=2.6.8]
Any advice on what this error means? Backuppc has a version of rsync embedded, but you can test the setup with the linux command line rsync like: rsync target_host:: The double-colons indicate that the remote is running in standalone daemon mode and omitting a destination makes it give a listing. After you see the module name list you can: rsync target_host::module/ for a directory listing. If those aren't working, you have a problem on the windows side. -- Les Mikesell [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
