I have a machine in my office which has been backed up with BackupPC. The owner of the machine has rebuilt it with the same name, but a different os. I want to keep the old backups while still continuing to make backups of the new machine.
Can I change the name of the old backup sets so that they can be maintained under a different name while the new backups come in under the original name?
