Thanks to all your inputs. After setting the $Conf{FullPeriod} and
$Conf{IncrPeriod} appropriately, it has worked fine.
Another quick question: When we do a backup of a same folder via SMB
and observe the log file, we see that the number of bytes backed up is
correctly reported in the LOG file:
full backup 1 complete, 12 files, 52292978 bytes, xferErrs
However, if we try to use the TAR method, it is not reporting the
total bytes at all:
full backup 0 complete, 629 files, bytes, xferErrs
Is there any specific reason behind why this is not reporting the
correct number of bytes?
