BackupPC 3.0.0beta3
Hi!
I just done a full backup. In this set there are 2 big files:
- debian-31r4-i386-binary-1.iso 4683952128 byte
- debian-31r4-i386-binary-2.iso 4676737024 byte
I ask to backuppc to restore this 2 files by smbclient but I have an
error message like this:
Running: /usr/bin/smbclient \\\\192.168.0.100\\archivio -U ferro -E -N -d
1 -c tarmode\ full -Tx -
Running: /var/BackupPC/bin/BackupPC_tarCreate -h 192.168.0.100 -n 86 -s
debian -t /debian-31r4-i386-binary-2.iso
Xfer PIDs are now 23091,23092
Domain=[XTERMINATOR] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.25a]
tarmode is now full, system, hidden, noreset, verbose
restore tar file \debian-31r4-i386-binary-2.iso of size 381769728 bytes
checksums don't match 0 63320
This backup will fail because: abandoning restore, -1 from read tar header
abandoning restore, -1 from read tar header
tarCreate: Unable to write to output file (Connection reset by peer)
restore failed: abandoning restore, -1 from read tar header
The problem is about samba-3.0.25a, backuppc's smbclient or tar?
Thanks, Alessandro
