I'm pretty sure the bug is in samba.  YOu can see it is trying to
restore a file of size 381769728 when the real size is 4GB + 381769728.
So a 32 bit value is being used somewhere for the file size.

Some time ago (samba 2.x) I wasn't able to get smbclient to restore
files bigger than 2GB or 4GB.

I submitted a bug report to samba in 2003, which is still open.
