Hi all,

It is my interpretation that BackupPC will 'fire-up' at the configured
wake intervals to opportunistically do backups outside of blackout
periods defined globally or overridden per-host. If I am wrong on this
then someone please bail me up right now to correct my understanding
before I go on. If however it is as I interpret, then I need to ask some
questions:

1/ If today (the day of a new host config) is Thursday and I want to
have a backups cycle start next Tuesday then how do schedule that? (Or
is scheduling always relative to the first time a backup is run?)

2/ If a Full backup (or incremental not as importantly) fails on the day
I wanted it to run, then what is the BackupPC catch-up policy ie. how
long or many times will BackupPC try to get a good Full for?

3/ What happens to failed jobs data resulting from my question 2?

4/ Will backups ever be allowed to overlap? (mostly to do with
incremental - but conceivably for Full too - with an rsync
dribble-throttle policy)

Thanks

(if you also care to check my question re: PostXXXXCmd REMOTEUSER
$ubstitution that'd be ace)**
