Has anyone come up with a scheme to maintain up to date restored copies
of machines, perhaps on vmware images, perhaps in other locations so it
could be activated immediately without the usual time to rebuild/restore?
Or, for a slight variation, I back up my laptop when it is on the
network at work. Given an appropriate VPN or ssh connection, is there
some automated way that at the end of the backup I could push the
changes to a vmware/parallels clone of the machine running on a Mac at home?
