Hi,

I am running BackupPC on 8 Debian linux machines backing up over 1500
Mac OSX 10.4 and 10.3 clients.  Works great.  I used tar as the
transport with xtar on the clients to assure that I get the resource
forks.  The 10.4 tar should do resource forks, but 10.3 tar will not
which is why I use xtar.  Feel free to write me off the list with any
additional questions you may have.
