I have solved this problem by soft linking the pool directory to where I want this:
Assuming the pool is in /var/lib/BackupPC/pool and you want to really have this in /export/backups/pool then cd /var/lib/BackupPC /bin/rm -Rf pool mkdir /export/backups/pool ln -s /export/backups/pool . I did this for pc, cpool, pool and it works for me :) /Christian -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Nils Breunese (Lemonbit) Sent: Monday, July 16, 2007 10:49 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [BackupPC-users] dissapointed and lost ilias wrote: > Holger Parplies <wbppc <at> parplies.de> writes: > >> pool and PC directory on different file systems? > > well i did install a new hard drive to take my backups there. The path is hardcoded into multiple files at install time. Run the installer again.
