Thanks - I haven't tested this but I assumed that compression would be much
slower. As all the files are MP3s (already compressed), bzip2 is unlikely to
be able to compress it much further. I'm currently using a setting of 5,
bzip2.

Thanks for the replies, I'll probably just leave the compression on.
