try: dpkg -L backuppc | grep -i <whatever> or else: updatedb & locate BackupPC_admin (of course, you can combine locate with grep if need be... but locate is case-sensitive, so keep that in mind). I don't think I've ever gone through the backuppc installation instructions... the Debian package does pretty much everything for you and sets it all up right the first time. Just install it and point your web browser at http://backup.host.name/backuppc/.
