Ok. So... If I want to keep one full per week and increment once each day between fulls- is this what my settings should be?
FullPeriod: 6.97 FullKeepCnt: 1 FullKeepCntMin: 1 FullAgeMax: 365 IncrPeriod: 0.97 IncrKeepCnt: 8 IncrKeepCntMin: 8 IncrAgeMax: 1 IncrLevels: 1 -----Original Message----- From: Les Mikesell [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, December 13, 2007 2:52 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: 'John Pettitt'; [email protected] Subject: Re: [BackupPC-users] Deleted Host Rob Ogle wrote: > John, > > Thanks for the reply! > > I believe I may have muddied the water with my original post. Fulls aren't deleted if there are any incrementals based on them. Also, due to the way duplicates are pooled, you aren't going to save much space by reducing the copies unless there was a lot of change so the old files don't exist in the newer version. -- Les Mikesell [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
