Ok well I setup a new box with Ubuntu 7.10 and this time I did "apt-get
backupc" and installed it fresh. Backuppc started up just fine. Then I
downloaded BackupPC-3.1.0.tar.gz and "tar zxf" it.....
Then I did....
cd BackupPC-3.1.0
Then I did...
perl configure.pl
I pointed it to the config file that was made when I setup backuppc from
apt-get. It ran through and installed everything, reading the config file for
where things should be installed. The I went to run it....
/etc/init.d/backuppc start
and got this....
* Starting backuppc...
No language settingBackupPC::Lib->new failed
Same error that I got on my production box........ What am I doing wrong?
