Hi guys, I tried to go through the list about this, but with little success.
I'm starting to pull my hair out about rsync obtusely misbehaving, dying with Child exited prematurely messages and gradually driving me insance. :) Any of you with such problems in the past that would care to shed some light? I am running BackupPC version 3.1.0, ensuring both server and client run the same rsync version, 2.6.3. Boxes which backups do not get completed are running linux, trying to backup files that eventually get changed, such as some within </var/mail/qmail/mailnames/domain/plenty of e-mails here>. By the following message I know it has something to do with the files vanishing: 2008/02/08 20:17:36 [19939] file has vanished: "/qmail/mailnames/ But it would be a shame to stop backing e-mails up due to that...
