Chris, A copy of your config.pl and the [host].pl file associated with one of your problem backups would be helpful. The FullPeriod/IncrPeriod govern how often each of those types of backups are taken. The FullAgeMax/IncrAgeMax will govern how long those backups will be kept in the absence of newer backups. Newer backups will cause obsolete Incr/Fulls to be removed based on the FullKeepCnt/FullKeepCntMax/IncrKeepCnt/IncrKeepCntMax. The default setting for FullAgeMax is 90 days and IncrMaxAge is 30 days. If that period of time hasn't expired then the system shouldn't have deleted any of your non-obsolete backups.
As to what you can do if things have been deleted, I don't have the experience to know. Likely I imagine you will be S.O.L., but an expert might have a better suggestion.
