Windows has a backup operators account. I though conceptually that
Administrators were allowed to do anything but sometimes have to take
ownership of files (which shows in an audit log) before being able to
access them, where backup operators are supposed to be able to make
backups without changing ownership. Not sure if this means they get
read access or if there is some magic about windows backups. There is
also some weirdness about logging in with a password vs. using ssh
keys, etc. that might be different in 2008.
