The Host Summary page will allow you to sort by Full Size, and thus see which hosts are using the most space. Beyond that, it becomes increasingly difficult to see what parts of those hosts are taking up the space. It might be easiest to look at the machines being backed up, see what's taking up space there, and what can be excluded. Also, double-check that the things you think are being excluded, actually are. Rather than reduce disk space usage, my first advice would be to get another server. It's good to have a second server to back up the configuration of the first (and vice versa). Also, it doubles your 'bisectional bandwidth', thus allowing you to back up twice as many machines at the same speed. If you need to reduce disk usage on your current machine tho, you can try turning down the retention period. In your config.pl, find the line: $Conf{FullKeepCnt} = and try setting it to keep fewer backups. This will not free as much space as you might think, due to deduplication, but if you find that you've been backing up some stuff you shouldn't have, lowering the amount of time it's kept will allow you to purge it out quicker. -- Carl Soderstrom Systems Administrator Real-Time Enterprises www.real-time.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BPM Camp - Free Virtual Workshop May 6th at 10am PDT/1PM EDT Develop your own process in accordance with the BPMN 2 standard Learn Process modeling best practices with Bonita BPM through live exercises http://www.bonitasoft.com/be-part-of-it/events/bpm-camp-virtual- event?utm_ source=Sourceforge_BPM_Camp_5_6_15&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=VA_SF _______________________________________________ BackupPC-users mailing list BackupPC-users@lists.sourceforge.net List: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/backuppc-users Wiki: http://backuppc.wiki.sourceforge.net Project: http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/
