Hmmmmm.....
[root@bu ~]# rsync --progress -avr 192.168.1.3:/srv/share/pub/*iso /tmp/
root@192.168.1.3's password:
receiving incremental file list
Linux.iso
33406236 100% 41.19kB/s 0:13:12 (xfer#1, to-check=2/3)
So even rsync appears to transfer very slow.
Anyone having an idea now or should I go to the rsync mailing list?
