Hi,

The User BackupPC is running under is missing in your statement. Please do the
following on your config.pl:

cat config.pl | grep "^\$Conf{BackupPCUser}"

As stated:

$Conf{BackupPCUser} = 'backuppc';

- Try accessing the CGI pm-files by using cat and sudo with this user.

Outputs a lot of HTML that appears to be the main BackupPC main menu.

- Execute "BackupPC_Admin" in /usr/share/BackupPC/bin using the user configured
in your config.pl

- check of the following paths in your config.pl are correct:
$Conf{TopDir}
$Conf{ConfDir}
$Conf{LogDir}
$Conf{RunDir}
$Conf{InstallDir}
$Conf{CgiDir}

Not sure I was clear enough on my origial posting. This not a new BackupPC installation; rather, it is a working-for-several-years-through-several-Fedora-upgrades installation. All the config setup is correct. It broke with the F27 upgrade.

The "AH01257" error code appears in the Apache error log, not any BackupPC log. This (and the reference to the "cgi daemon") leads to the thought there is something changed in Apache/CGI. BTW: the httpd daemon is also running under the backuppc userid.
