Hello,
I just upgraded from version 3 to 4. It was fresh install and then I
converted the pool files using BackupPC_migrateV3toV4.
Unfortunately the first backup I tried to run failed with some cryptic
error messages, I tried to troubleshoot it but didn't make much progress. I
hope someone on this list experienced similar symptoms and can give me a
hint on where to dig further.
I'm running the following versions: backuppc 4.1.5, backuppc-xs 0.57,
rsync-bpc 3.0.9.11, rsyncd 3.0.9 on the client (Windows 10)
*The client side has the following errors:*
2018/01/09 22:32:00 [4696] rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed to write 4
bytes to socket [sender]: Broken pipe (32)
2018/01/09 22:32:00 [4696] rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream

*the server side log has:*
2018-01-09 22:27:24 full backup started for directory driveC
2018-01-09 22:32:01 Got fatal error during xfer (No files dumped for
share driveC)
2018-01-09 22:32:06 Backup aborted (No files dumped for share driveC)
*and when run dmesg on the server I'm getting this:*
