There is no way I know of to convert your V3 pool to V4, and I can confirm that
it is
impractical to try to copy or duplicate your V3 pool to a new system due to the
way it is
hard-linked internally.
The earlier recommendation to run your New BackupPC server (v4) while the old
server (v3)
is available is a generally good best practice when making this kind of shift.
