Hi,

Using backuppc 4.2.1 and it is only backing up the folder structure, fresh
installl tried fedora 27-29 and all the same. no error, if i check the
backup info, see's the files say's they were backuped up but when i check
the folders there are no files in any folder.

Been looking on line for the past several days, can find nothing. have any
idea's on what i might have done wrong. same setup with fedora 24 and
backuppc 3.2 works fine.

Where are you checking for the files? On the web interface, or from the CLI?

In BPC4 there are only dirs and attrib files in the pc dirs, you can use the
CLI tool BackupPC_ls to view the files backed up from the CLI, or you can use
the web interface.

Your best bet is to test restoring some file to confirm that the backups are
working properly.
