How spec’d out do you make your backup server machines, as in the ones running your backup software to backup the production servers? Are they barely above desktop class? Software RAID or still require hardware RAID? Still SAS drives or do you go SATA and expect to replace them? Hot swappable or do you just expect to take down the machine? Dual power supplies or just a single as its the backup server?
