It's been so much time since I installed the main Backuppc server that I
totally forgot the $Conf{BlackoutGoodCnt} mechanism. Backuppc is too
stable and never needs my intervention, so I forget everything :-)

Yep!
Anyway in your case it's probably easier to set $Conf{BlackoutGoodCnt}
to 0 as described above and just rely on the wakeup schedule.
Would be mostly good, but I need also to apply a variable blackout
period on different days of the week.
