Currently I have a urbackup server and wondering if it's ok to manually
add file coming from urbackup storage pool to backuppc one, doing what I
understand from docs:
Supposing file ABC.jpeg has an md5 digest of
a92e2588747d2d10490098e6af4bac6d
If I just hardlink ABC.jpeg to
/var/lib/backuppc/pool/a8/2e/a92e2588747d2d10490098e6af4bac6d is it ok?
Is there something I'm missing?
I'm thinking in doing that because backing up all of these files from
clients is impracticable (lot of TB over Internet) and adding server as
a backup host and doing a normal backup is also not good because I don't
have enough space to accommodate all the files twice. The only choice
would be to add directories one by one, doing a backup through backuppc,
then deleting the source dir.
What do you think?
