A few months ago I spent lots of hours pouring over BackupPC and rsync
documentation attempting to figure out why I could not restore a directory.
This morning I installed BackupPC fresh on a new Fedora server, then copied the
RsyncRestoreArgs configuration to my live BackupPC server.
I never occurred to me to create a brand new instance until you suggested
something like that.
After copying the config from the fresh install to my Live server I was able to
restore files and directories just as expected.
Thanks for all the work you do to create and maintain BackupPC.
