Few questions:
Can regression/restore testing be done automatically?
Can the updating be done automatically?
Is the SVN version backwards compatible? I mean, I have some test
servers running Windows 2003 SBS that can be used for regression testing
but I have a working director on a dedicated server so I don't fancy
having to set up another one...

Last question: is C(++) knowledge needed? If so then I can't help...
