Hello, If you are running the Unix/Linux regression scripts, please read this email very carefully.
First I recommend making a copy of the changes you made to the prototype.conf and possibly the Makefile file. Then: cd regress rm -f Makefile prototype.conf svn update note, it is important to do the rm command. Then cp prototype.conf config (edit config and change the variables to suit your needs referring to your old prototype.conf or possibly the old Makefile). then you can run the regression the way you did previously. There will be no Makefile.in, and Makefile will not contain the configuration. Your configuration will be only in config. There may be a few very old files that have not been converted to the new way of running the scripts. If that is the case, they may perhaps fail. However, all the standard tests should run correctly.
