I would like to get this nailed down and fixed. As Scott pointed out, I think we are facing a rather big support problem ... At this point, I don't consider it acceptable to drop Bacula support for either MySQL or PostgreSQL on RHEL3. It is a bit of an old system, and we may not be able to support every thing such as bat, but I don't like the idea of dropping Bacula support. Scott if you have time, could you send me the output that shows PostgreSQL failing on RHEL3? Also, could you try running Bacula with the installed version of MySQL, but with batch insert mode turned off during the configure.
