(Following up from http://bugs.bacula.org/view.php?id=1432)
I tried to run through the regression suite on a freshly installed Mac 10.6 install, and it failed to build the storage daemon. After a little digging around, I found that mtio.h is completely missing - intentionally removed from 10.6 by Apple, to be more specific. Other applications have noticed this, and appear to simply be avoiding tape device functionality on 10.6: http://freewrt.org/trac/changeset/3882/trunk http://waffle.wootest.net/2009/09/05/removed-snow-leopard/ I have no idea what the fix should be, but until some kind of workaround is put in place for this "feature" it's not possible to build the sd on 10.6. -- Frank Sweetser fs at wpi.edu | For every problem, there is a solution that WPI Senior Network Engineer | is simple, elegant, and wrong. - HL Mencken GPG fingerprint = 6174 1257 129E 0D21 D8D4 E8A3 8E39 29E3 E2E8 8CEC ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Return on Information: Google Enterprise Search pays you back Get the facts. http://p.sf.net/sfu/google-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Bacula-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-devel
