There is or was a bug open on this, but it was not clear. Now that I know that Apple deliberately removed having tape device functionality, we can consider the possibility of trying to work around it. The SD has always been built with tape drive support, so it may not be so easy. Is there really someone out there using Mac Directors and SD? If so, I would like to hear about it. We will look into possible solutions ...
