Yes, indeed.  But it can be done with existing features, and without you
having to predict in advance how long yopur maintenance window is.

Given that an existing feature (which, in bconsole, is "enable/disable
job ...") already exists, though, if you really want the automatic
operation that you're asking about, it's really not hard to script it.
