hi,

Trying to get bacula going at a single tape drive. So no autoloader
as bacula seems to be used for in most cases.

A few questions.

Maybe i should do 3 emails.
But let's ask the questions in 1.

Output at end of email

If i do a tapeinfo i see "Medium Type: Not Loaded" that with a tape
inside (otherwise the other info wouldn't
be correct either i'd guess). If i google i see others with other
brands tapedrives do not have this problem.

Does that mean tape driver has a problem for this tapedrive?
And if so: is it a problem?

I wonder whether it has relevance for next: how do i label a tape to
be used for bacula?

As that's the most important question.

I already had put an EOF on the tape. The tapes have been previously
used with a different tape program
in the same streamer - this one works.

Third: i see here running bacula-sd and bacula-dir under user bacula
and bacula-fd under root.
Is that ok?

Thanks for giving any insight.

Kind Regards,
Vincent
